FAQs
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
In Texas, you can see a physical therapist directly for up to 30 days without a doctor’s referral. This means you can start your evaluation and treatment right away. If care continues beyond that timeframe or your condition requires it, I’ll help coordinate the referral process with your physician.
Why cash-based versus a regular clinic?
Cash-based care gives you longer, one-on-one sessions without the limitations of insurance-driven models. Every visit is customized to your sport, goals, and performance level — no rushed treatments or handoffs. It’s a more personal, effective way to recover and perform at your best.
How long are the sessions?
Each session lasts about 60 minutes, giving plenty of time for assessment, hands-on treatment, and individualized exercise progressions. Every visit is fully one-on-one so we can focus on what matters most for your recovery and performance.
Where do sessions take place?
In-person sessions are held at Marr Strength in Southlake, TX, a high-performance training facility. I can also accommodate mobile and concierge visits in the Dallas area for added convenience.
What types of athletes do you work with?
I work with athletes of all levels — from youth and collegiate to recreational and professional. My experience includes sports like soccer, tennis, football, and dance, but I also treat active adults who want to move and feel their best.
What can I expect at my first visit?
Your first session includes a full evaluation of movement, strength, and sport demands, followed by hands-on treatment and a clear plan of action. You’ll leave knowing exactly what’s going on, what we’re working toward, and how to start improving right away.
