Testimonials

Working with Ms Marissa on my ACL has helped me get stronger and more confident every week. She push me to do exercises that rebuild my knee and improve my balance. It’s been tough, but I felt real progress every session.

High School Football Player, 17

When I first got my groin injury, I started going to PT with Marissa and she was with me every visit. I didn’t want to go to anybody else because she took care of me. When I was trying to get back to playing, I tweaked it and had to restart the process a little bit. I started listening to her and I have had results which got me back on the field faster, and got back healthy making plays.

Marissa was incredible to work with. She helped me recover from hip pain that had been irritating me for months. She created a personalized plan that really worked. She would come to the facility early to work with me and make sure I was ready to go for training, which showed how much she truly cared. Thanks to her guidance, I was able to feel stronger, move better, and play full games pain-free. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care made all the difference in my recovery.

Academy – Level Soccer Athlete, 16

I worked with Marissa for about 6 months and her attention to detail and her ability to listen to me and how I was feeling, is what sets her apart. Marissa was able to give me personalized care, adapt when things didn’t go our way, and gave me confidence in our treatment plan. She went out of her way to ensure that if something wasn’t working, we would try something else to reach my goals. I really appreciated Marissa listening to me on a daily basis and providing personalized care!

FAQs

In Texas, you can see a physical therapist directly for up to 30 days without a doctor’s referral. This means you can start your evaluation and treatment right away. If care continues beyond that timeframe or your condition requires it, I’ll help coordinate the referral process with your physician.

Cash-based care gives you longer, one-on-one sessions without the limitations of insurance-driven models. Every visit is customized to your sport, goals, and performance level — no rushed treatments or handoffs. It’s a more personal, effective way to recover and perform at your best.

Each session lasts about 60 minutes, giving plenty of time for assessment, hands-on treatment, and individualized exercise progressions. Every visit is fully one-on-one so we can focus on what matters most for your recovery and performance.

In-person sessions are held at Marr Strength in Southlake, TX, a high-performance training facility. I can also accommodate  mobile and concierge visits in the Dallas area for added convenience.

I work with athletes of all levels — from youth and collegiate to recreational and professional. My experience includes sports like soccer, tennis, football, and dance, but I also treat active adults who want to move and feel their best.

Your first session includes a full evaluation of movement, strength, and sport demands, followed by hands-on treatment and a clear plan of action. You’ll leave knowing exactly what’s going on, what we’re working toward, and how to start improving right away.
